As a lover of new technologies with rich experience in different sectors, Rafael acquired a wide range of skills and knowledge during his career in several international companies.
Based in New York, he is currently employed as a Sales Manager at Underline Science Inc., where for almost three years, in addition to sales duties, he has been successfully leading various processes that help the successful organization of scientific conferences around the world (including the largest hybrid scientific conference AAAI23 that took place in February 2023 in Washington DC, USA, with over 5000 accepted papers). He is also currently engaged as a Business Development Manager at SwissTechies, where he successfully identifies new business opportunities and expands the business.
His experience also includes working on occasional projects such as at Digital Platforme, where he implements AI tools in various business processes, increasing efficiency and functionality.
During his studies at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding, he gained valuable practical experience at the HOMATEH company, where he applied his academic skills in practice.
With his professional knowledge, business skills and involvement in various projects around the world, he is a valuable member of every organization in which he works.
In his spare time, he plays various sports, loves traveling and cars.
